Wisetek Store: Boosting Instagram Reach by 3600% in 3 Weeks

Wisetek Store is an ecommerce brand that sells high-quality refurbished IT equipment in the EU market. Although part of the larger multinational Wisetek brand, with over 14 years of experience, Wiestek Store struggled with brand awareness amongst its target market. 

Objective:

I worked with Wisetek Stores to improve their social media presence on Facebook and Instagram. I created a three-week multi-platform campaign to:

  • Grow their follower count on each platform.

  • Increase engagement (likes, comments, shares) to build brand recognition.

  • Drive conversions for their Black Friday Cyber Monday promotion.

Strategy:

I created a campaign with 3 main content pillars:

  1. Giveaways.

  2. Brand Awareness.

  3. Black Friday.

Giveaways

With a target market of students and young working professionals, I partnered with the two local post-secondary institutions. We ran giveaway competitions with both schools, leveraging their large social media followings. 

Participants were required to follow Wisetek Store, like the post, tag multiple friends in the comments, and share for additional entries. In exchange, they were entered in a draw for a refurbished laptop from Wisetek Store.

 

Brand Awareness  

After gaining new followers, we created educational content to improve Wisetek’s brand awareness. 

I created informational posts covering topics like:

  • The Circular Economy

  • The Meaning of Refurbished

  • Reducing eWaste 

To build trust and overcome the stigma of second-hand products, we showcased client testimonials, product reviews, and local press recognition via stories.

 

Black Friday

The increase in followers and engagement all led to Wisetek’s Black Friday promotion. I leveraged different content types by posting images, links, Reels, and stories to generate hype for the sale. 

Results

Within a one-month campaign, I:

  • Increased Instagram and Facebook followers by 240%.

  • Boosted Instagram reach by 3600% using short-form video Reels and social sharing campaigns (giveaways).

  • Boosted engagement rates across channels by an average of 1087%.

  • Drove website visits and conversions from social media during the Black Friday Cyber Monday sale.
